D.P. Jewellers
Luxury Jewelry Digital Showroom for DP Jewellers
Mantravi digitized the DP Jewellers showroom with a premium React Native app for iOS and Android, a Next.js admin control center for inventory and analytics, and Firebase infrastructure that keeps high-value jewelry catalogs in real-time sync across store and mobile.
Project context
DP Jewellers is a luxury jewelry brand whose reputation was built in the showroom: the lighting, the craftsmanship on display, the quiet confidence of a high-value purchase. Mantravi partnered with the team to carry that same feeling into a digital product. We built a cross-platform consumer app and a secure admin control center so inventory, imagery, and store updates stay in sync without losing the premium tone that defines the brand.
A full digital showroom ecosystem: React Native mobile with minimalist, photography-led UX; a Next.js admin panel for stock, collections, and analytics; and Firebase for real-time sync, secure authentication, and high-resolution product imagery.

The problem
DP Jewellers needed more than a standard retail app.
The digital experience had to match the trust, elegance, and visual impact of a luxury jewelry showroom, while giving the team a secure admin backbone to manage high-value inventory without developer bottlenecks.
Inside the build
Approach & execution

Behind the scenes, the operational bar was just as high. High-value inventory changes often, new collections arrive, and store teams need to update stock and imagery without waiting on a developer. The product had to pair a polished customer experience with a dependable admin backbone that non-technical staff could use every day.
What the Brand Needed
- A mobile experience that feels native on both iOS and Android, not a compromised web wrapper.
- Room for high-resolution product photography without sacrificing load times on mid-range devices.
- Real-time sync between showroom updates and what customers see in the app.
- An admin panel fast enough for daily operations, with clear stock management and analytics.
Our Approach
We started by mapping the in-store journey: how a customer moves from discovery to consultation, which details matter on a small screen, and where digital can support the sale without replacing the human relationship. Design explored a minimalist visual language with generous whitespace, subtle transitions, and typography that reads as editorial rather than promotional.
Engineering ran in parallel. Mobile and admin were treated as one ecosystem: shared data models, consistent image pipelines, and authentication flows that keep staff actions auditable. That alignment reduced rework later when the client began uploading full seasonal catalogs.
What We Built
The mobile experience
We engineered the consumer app with React Native so iOS and Android share a single codebase without feeling generic. Product galleries use progressive loading and tuned image sizes so gold, stone, and finish detail stay crisp. Navigation stays shallow: collections, piece detail, and store contact paths are always one or two taps away, which matters when a customer is comparing options in a showroom or on the couch the same evening.
The admin control center
Operations run through a Next.js admin panel built for speed and clarity. Staff can manage stock, publish collections, review performance metrics, and upload imagery through workflows that mirror how the team already thinks about inventory. Server-side rendering and a lean component architecture keep dashboards responsive even when catalogs grow into hundreds of SKUs.

Real-time infrastructure
Firebase anchors the stack: real-time database sync for inventory state, Cloud Storage for high-resolution assets, and secure authentication separating customer and staff roles. When a piece is marked unavailable in the admin, the change propagates to the app without a manual refresh cycle. That immediacy is essential when customers and sales staff are looking at the same item from different screens.
Engineering Highlights
- React Native app with platform-aware UI polish and shared business logic across iOS and Android.
- Next.js admin with role-based access, fast catalog editing, and analytics views for merchandising decisions.
- Firebase real-time sync, secure auth, and cloud storage tuned for large jewelry photography sets.
- Image pipeline with responsive sizes and caching so repeat browsing stays smooth on mobile networks.

“Jewelry is emotional commerce. The app had to feel calm, confident, and worthy of the pieces it represents. Every screen was judged against that standard.”
